Micro-Sleeping Through Ministryhttp://www.mikecalhoun.wol.org/blog/blog/micro_sleeping?John Powleyhttp://www.mikecalhoun.wol.org/blog/blog/micro_sleeping?How do they relate? Very easily.
If my current actions and activities are founded on the truth (principles), then I know my purpose (what I must accomplish). Regular personal and ministry evaluation give me opportunity to ask the questions: Am I continuing to accomplish my purpose. How long will my current method(s) continue to be effective.
If I am accomplishing my purpose and can determine that my current methods should work for the forseeable future then there is no need for change just yet. When I cannot answer those questions affirmatively, then I MUST change or failure is imminent. I don't change simply to do something new but rather so that I can continue to be effective.
That being said, change without purpose or changing when I am still accomplishing my intended purpose puts me at risk of future failure.
